How to attach the cables on Revell's 1/72 VIIC/41 model

How do you attach and fixed the cables(thread) on the VIIC/41 Revell's 1/72 model?
There's only one hole to go through for the cable(thread) so i'm wondering how the hell to fixed that thread in that hole.

Anyone with experience on building similar Revell's U-boat model? Pls share your expertise.
Thx.

Re: How to attach the cables on Revell's 1/72 VIIC/41 model

Anyone pls?
I'm not there yet but almost. In a few days i'll have to attach the cables.
She's(U-995) looking good so far(but that's my subjective opinion). I hope i do not overweather her.

What's the best alternative thread i could use besides the stock thread. Do i have to paint the thread(it's already black)? What's the genuine color of the cables in u-boat?

You can paint the thread black it will take all the fuzzy's off
I have used a small drop of superglue to attach ship rigging.
It will also work on the Cable you are doing

Superglue. That was what i had in mind but still considering other more robust alternatives. Thx
Some other say that the cables are bare steel so grey would be more appropiate.
