Thought I'd post a couple of pics on a model I am working on, it's a Tamiya 1/48 scale. The weather was nice, so I went out in the backyard and tried my hand at model photography and this is what I came up with. Any tips welcome

My shelves would be empty. I still have a Trumpeter P-40 1/32 scale that I have been working on for over 2 years! I'll get some pics of that later this week.

Thanks for the replies! I am still trying to figure how to get shots like some of the posters here . I think die cast collecting is more fun than model building these days, plus you guys are fun to hang out with . Those model builder forums are tough, talk about rivet counting I wouldn't dare post a pic

Dead right - there are many like that (sadly) in the I.P.M.S. community at large, which often spoils it for the beginner (or even sometimes, the intermeadiate).

Those Tamiya 1/48th kits are just mouthwatering, hence why I bought a stack of 'em for later years, when I have more time, patience & space.
