Conflix 1:72 Scale Pre-Fabricated & Pre-Painted Dioramas

Hi forummers,

Was wondering if anyone has bought 1:72 pre-built dioramas from Conflix. Can't seem to find a manufacturer's website but have come across Conflix's products on many retailers' sites, e.g. Foxhole Toys, Tank Zone, Michigan Toy Soldier Co., J.B. Wholsalers, etc.

The pictures on these sites look pretty nice. Price-wise not too steep either. Would like to seek some commenst and advice before I take the plunge. Are the dioramas any good, in terms of the paintwork and finishing touches? Not sure if it is a fair comparison, but does Conflix's quality measure up to Dragon's dioramas?

I have several of their products. They are really very nicely done and complement my diecast tanks well. I get mine from AAA Hobbies in Magnolia NJ. I recommend them.

I have all Conflix's dugouts ,etc. They are very good, but can be lifted to a new hight by the use of diluted white glue and coloured sawdust ( which you can get from any railway model retailer ).

The stuff like " Stalingrad " ruins is excellent.....great modeling and paintjobs.....everyone who displays 1.72 armour must consider them.

Watch Coflix scales though. They manufacture lots of stuff for Fantasy and Wargamers, so the scales can be weird.

Their buildings are poorer....look too phoney to me.

I had not seen any of the Conflix diorama products before. They look pretty good, and with a little model railroading layout material, could really be improved upon.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.
