Nice price alright. I've seen them do over $300 too though.

Dam*, should have placed a higher bid and keep the tank until my retirement. Just over 30 years to go. Better than stock options

You may well be right! That Panther does command high prices. Even I would want one, if I could afford one that is.

Yup, the Minichamps Tiger I, Panther, M48 and some models of their Leopard are highly sought after. Prices of some of their earlier models have sky rocketed ever since production stopped. I made the mistake of not getting a couple of Panthers and Tigers early enough and I'm not going to make the same mistake with the Centurion!

Don't forget the King Tiger. That's also a cool beast!

Spot on! Like the Ardennes King Tiger...this is one of the nicer Minichamps models, but is very hard to find now.

Yeah, I have this one and Panther R1, from the very first weeks when they were released (although American, I have the advantage of living in Germany, mind you). Not for sale at any price, though (well, OK, maybe at some "astronomical" price, whatever that is...).

I love my Minichamps, even with their flaws. There's nothing like that heavy-metal feel.
