How and where do you display your Minichamps tanks?

Do you put it in an acrylic display case? post picture if you will.

I do not but I'm considering this to prevent any rust from settling in the tanks.
I put them in my bedroom just in front of the tv desk. It's not the best place to put them but I'm kind of running out of space for my collection.

Re: How and where do you display your Minichamps tanks?

Ive got my one & only Minichamps 1/35 in a display case atop a bookcase.

The acrylic case is a Trumpeter item no.09808 measuring 12 1/2"L x 10 7/8"W x 5 3/8"H (or 316mm x 276mm x 136mm)

That looks very good Dilli. The more I look at the Centurion, the more I like it. Glad to see I'm not the only one with a low Minichamps tank count.

Its probably going to stay a low number for me, as Im mainly collecting British Armour....though there is a rather large (non-Minichamps) Tiger Ive got my eye on

Well my friend I don't envy you the postage on said rather large Tiger then! I'm more into the German tanks myself, for me they personify everything I think a tank should be, well armoured, with powerful guns, agile (for some relatively agile), real tank killers and just plain mean. My favorites being the Panther and Leopard. I aim to get a few more Minichamps if I can get them at the right price that is.

The Centurion is my favorite now.

Glad you put it inside a display case to preserve it.
I need to buy display cases for my tanks but the M1A2 has got long radio antennas.

I bought a cheapo fish tank to house some of my taller diecasts, that may be an option for the armour with mile long antennae.

I'm afraid that won't do LOL. But thanks for the suggestion. I think I may need a display shelf one that prevents dust from settling in. I intend to put all my collection there though not that many I'm beginning to run out of space.

Btw dilligafocau you managed to rotate the Centurion turret safely. I tried to rotate it one or two times. It hardly budge and I was afraid to break the accessories on the turret. Yeah I managed to rotate it then rotated it back but I don't dare to try it again.

The turrets are quite stiff on these tanks. Ive got two of the Centurions & both turned ok to the angle in the photo, I did'nt want to risk a 360' rotate though

Re: How and where do you display your Minichamps tanks?

I have just received my 14th model (T-72) and they are still in there boxes, only because I have been unable to find a suitable display case to house them all together.
