Talking Re: How and where do you display your Minichamps tanks?

I have just received my 14th model (T-72) and they are still in there boxes, only because I have been unable to find a suitable display case to house them all together.

Welcome Giant Flying Robot. Where did you get your T72? Good price?

I won the Centurion on ebay last night. Hopefully it gets here soon without customs intervention.

14th Minichamps model? . That many eeh?
I'm still waiting for the T-72 to hit the local distributor here.

For 14 models you definitely need to buy a display shelf.

I used to have a specialist diecast dealer(mostly cars) not far from where I live, who I would get a very good deal from (AUD$120 vs $150 everywhere else here). Unfortunately he went out of business. And like you I now get most of my models from ebay, My recent T-72 purchase cost me AUD$107 delivered to Oz. Thanks to the recent rises in the AUD it makes what are normally expensive shipping charges bearable, and still a lot cheaper than any price that i can obtain here.

I don't have all of these at home at the moment, but these are the ones currently stored in the wardrobe

In no particular order:

T-72M1 350 025000
Tiger 350 010002
Tiger II 350 013000
Sd.kfz.251/1 350 011270
Sherman M4A3 350 040000
Sd.Kfz.7 350 011170
Jagdpanther 350 019022
Jagdpanther 350 019024
Panther Ausf G 350 019001
T-34/76 350 020001

Can post images of these, if you guys are interested in seeing a lot of black boxes.lol

In storage elsewhere awaiting suitable display space, or more room in the wardrobe.

88mm flak 36/37 350 011081
Jagdpanther 350 019021
T-34/76 350 020000
Tiger 350 010000

Not necessarily the rarest models, as I started a while after Minichamps began to produce armor, but I will fill the gaps in time.

I wouldn't mind pics when you have them available GFR. Much easier than looking through the numbers which I'm about to do now.

Re: How and where do you display your Minichamps tanks?

Van, heres an image of my collection thus far (the ones here at home anyways) first time they have ever been out of their boxes at the same time, whoohoo. Oh and I have just added a Abrahms, which is yet to arrive.

Seeing them here, I now realize that it is little wonder they aren't all stored here together, I think I am creating a monster

I am not sure how those with a complete collection do it.

GFR
