How About a Firefly?

It would be great if someone, especially Minichamps, would put out a Firefly in the 1:50 scale or larger. I believe the demand for such an item would be strong and the manufacturer could work from existing Sherman molds and designs.

Re: How About a Firefly?

I only have the Minichamps Leopard and am looking to get more of the German big cats. Haven't liked the Minichamps Shermans but the Firefly will definitely be the business. In fact I've succumbed and bought the cool German camouflaged firefly. Very nice camo scheme.

Re: How About a Firefly?

Sherman Firefly.....a tank that could kill the best of the Panzers.
Mustang..... an Aircraft that could kill the best of the Luftwaffe.

English and American co-operation at its best

I would like to see a 1/16 Firefly, with lots of metal and a full on board crew. ....would cost a bit tho

Re: How About a Firefly?

Dear David,

" English "? Tank parts were made in Glasgow while the Merlin was manufactured by the thousand in the city.

Remember, the days of Americans refering to the U.K. as " England " are long gone! You'll just encourage the Scottish Nationists and then the U.K will be the 2K!

OK MoMo--I'm sure we can agree, if you'll change your flag! It's no fair for you to masquerade as a Yank.

Dear KG-Jag,

I would change it if someone would explain how to do it. I tried several times to run it down, but no luck. Like Skunky, I'm stuck with it ( Skunky is really a Scot, well, at least his Grannie was )....it just appeared one day!

cheers,

MoMo

I blame that ruddy Mel Gibson.....those Scots have never been the same since that film of his.

We all know that England is the UK....... Scotland and Wales were just added so we didn't need a passport to go there on Holiday.

Re: How About a Firefly?

Thanks, GK-Jag,

I followed your directions, but nothing happened! I think that the software had problems recognising the cCity of Glasgow. Perhaps this is because we are in some sort of twilight zone?

I'll try again
