Panzerkampfwagen V Panther Command Tank

Looking to find some replacement parts for this item.

The tank was shipped without the two command antennas. If anyone has a broken tank and or extra parts please PM me.

Thanks again!

Yup, I could have had that...............

Re: Panzerkampfwagen V Panther Command Tank

I may have a 1/35th scale antenna that could work. I'll have to check.

If anyone knows of a photo etch kit for 1:35th scale Panther Command Tanks that info would also be appreciated.

Re: Panzerkampfwagen V Panther Command Tank

Well after doing a little surfing of the net I found that Taska makes a custom set for 1:35 models. The parts are made of machined brass and look way cool; I'll paint these up to match the tank. I think that these will look better than the original Minichamps plastic antenna's and are more historically accurate.

Re: Panzerkampfwagen V Panther Command Tank

Thanks!

Well, I found it on EBay along with another item. She was listed as Mint Condition but it was filthy when I got her. I'm talking about dust about an 1/8 of an inch all around. Took me two hours to clean this baby but my efforts paid off. The tank was mint under all the dust with the exception of the missing antennas. Seller was kind enough to give me a partial refund for the listing error and dusty item so in the long run she only cost me $40 bucks which included the shipping.
Yes, I know...........this was a bargin.

Re: Panzerkampfwagen V Panther Command Tank

Lucky you! I bagged the same one in Scandinavia for $48.50 without postage, paid double for a used tank. I trust it turns out OK. Did you manage to sort out your antenae?

Re: Panzerkampfwagen V Panther Command Tank

Yes, I ordered a kit from Taska Modellismo Co., Ltd. item number 35.L10 which includes the star antenna and all command antenna from early to late tanks. Kit includes both plastic injected and photo etched brass parts. Very impressed with the detail, just take a look at the pic below.

Yup, I could have had that...............

Re: Panzerkampfwagen V Panther Command Tank

Can you please post a link to the website that sells these kits? I wonder if they would be compatible with dragon's 1/35 models?
