Re: Old's P-38

And to think I only had to pay $32.50 for my Corgi Scat II from one of our members here.

Re: Old's P-38

They've had that P-38 listed at that inflated price for at least a year---maybe longer. So far, no takers.

Re: Old's P-38

Given enough time, I'm sure there is someone out there who is STUPID enough to buy it at that price! Glad I've got mine already and I only paid $11.99 for it.

Re: Olds P-38

Seems like another one of those eBay "traps" meant for amateur collectors that don't know any better...

I think it's criminal, but that's just eBay for yas.

I hate to disagree, but I don't think it is criminal for someone to ask any price for anything, especially if they are not being fradulent or very "grey" in their description. And, If someone is stupid enough to pay for something they know absolutly nothing, or maybe they do, about something offered on ebay, then that is just their stupidity.

I have a few extra diecast items that you don't see show up on ebay often, and if I can come up with a creative description that makes it sound more valuable than it might really be worth, and if someone is willing to pay my asking price, or if it gets bid up into the stratosphere, then lucky me. I will then be able further indulge in this expensive hobby.
