Matchbox Green/Gray Mig-15 Up For Bids On eBay

If I recall correctly, one of our members---and perhaps more----is anxious to get one of those rare Matchbox camouflaged Mig-15s. I just saw one up for bids on eBay by starshipwings whose "store" is called Collectible-Diecast-Models. Latest bid is about $56. Good luck, guys.

Dang, guess I pretty much gave mine away then -- I threw it in with a Rutan Super Sabre I sold a couple weeks ago... the pitot tube had broken off but I had the part still, and included it. Got $60 or $70 for the two of 'em...

thought I did well!

For some reason, Matchbox planes still seem to do well on ebay especially when one considers what they sold for originally. $70.00 for a couple of planes that sold for about $15.00 each originally isn't too shabby Pappy. That's why I still have all mine.

And to think I passed up on buying these when they were on clearance for $4.99 at Target..

Yeah, that sure were the good old days and was able to take advantage of it at the time...

Funny, these are the only two Matchbox planes I have. Wouldn't mind a silver Mig 15 though.

Shame the folks at Matchbox quit this line of models. Kick myself for not getting more of them.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.
