| Re: Will MB be kept through the flood? I like the MB planes and see no reason to dump them. For what I paid for them, not much, they have pretty nice detail, I still search on eBay for some of the ones I am missing. Prices are going up on them though. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Will MB be kept through the flood? I currently have a small start on the MB collection of 13 planes and will not part with them, 10 out of the 13 I purchased in sealed boxes. needless to say that I couldn't resist and they are on full display now. I purchased a FOV at Toys r Us the other day, this is a 1/72 scale P-40 diecast. The quality of this plane is not even close to the MB P-40, The detail is not there. The display stands are junk, I will have to glue the side engine covers on because they continue to fall off. That alone was a bad idea. I guess you get what you pay for, $12.99 isnt bad for what you get I guess. It seems that MB made one of the best 1/72 warplanes at that time. That would be really cool to seem them start up again. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Will MB be kept through the flood? Seems many are choosing not to keep the P-38s as I've seen a ton on Ebay lately. Some mislisted and parts of group so look closely. Found this the other day if you're desperate. Airplanes and more product descritption Been looking for the Spads on and off myself. After I saw them at GML as part of some display I was impressed and surprised. Nice models and I didn't really notice the absent rigging much. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Will MB be kept through the flood? Yea, those MB Spads are GREAT! A few years ago I got the Rickenbacker Spad from TFM, and than I purchased the Luke Spad from a fellow forumite (Duxford, if memory serves). | |||||||||||||

| Re: Will MB be kept through the flood? I still have 10-15 MB planes. I still display the P-51's they are fantastic and I of course have the MB Spads on display with my C1 Fokkers and Nieuport. I also have the Hallmark Legends In Flight Guynemere Spad displayed with the MB Spads. I really think I will like the MB Spads better than the Corgi Spads. I could care less about the rigging is it really worth the exxtra $30 per plane I would pay? | |||||||||||||

| Re: Will MB be kept through the flood? I have the MB P40s, no way would I part with them. I think they are great and sit nicely with my P40 collection. no4mkit sent them over (many thanks again buddy), I think MB are very good for the money but I am sort of biased a little with any P40 model, yup I know I do indeed have the IXO one, but I think MB stand up well to scrutiny with many of the models produced today. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Will MB be kept through the flood?
I have no intention of buying more Spads. I do like rigging, as it adds to the realism, but I don't see any sense in paying mucho bucks for a Corgi Spad as my MB's are going to be just as good or better, albeit minus rigging ('course, I could ADD rigging if I wanted to). | ||||||||||||||

| Re: Will MB be kept through the flood? I thank Louie for one, and I thank Captain Eddie for buying one from me. I have the Spitfire and the Mustangs. My friend in England bought all I could find at Tuesday Morning a year ago. I think the Mustangs are superb. Ask Louie for any information about them. Once there was a list of all the models posted, on the old forum. Maybe someone should post it again, especially those silver box ones and the Canadian issues. | |||||||||||||
