Re: Another Betty Bomber Is Finally On The Way!

It's a fargan Betty in the generous 1/48 scale. Worth $400 to me.

I suspect this re-issue will not be the last G4M made by Marushin.

The Betty would display very well next to FM's Marauder and hopefully, early war versions will be made again. In early '42 the fighter pilots on the Lexington referred to this new-to-them bomber as "very much like our B-26" (Queen of the Flattops, 1942, author: Stanley Johnson).

My hope is that this "special Betty" and the upcoming repaint of the Hein may help Marushin to see that there is still a market for their product and inspire them to revive the line..

Thumbs up Re: Another Betty Bomber Is Finally On The Way!

Dare we hope to share in the upcoming bounty of new product from these guys?

It is cruel to taunt -- let's hope the buzz is correct.

Ah - Starman - I was trying to get you with this one. If I had only held out a little bit longer!
