Marushin- 1/48 collection

Here are some "quickie" pics I took of my corner display in our bedroom.. I plan on taking many of these over to Mark sometime soon to get some "professional" pics..

Airplanes in the bedroom... Harry you are my hero

Nice collection you amassed in short order there -- those Marushins sure are nice!

Oh man......My belly hurts.......Now you just made me want to buy a few more for my collection....
Got to keep this one away from my wife...I'm over my limit already for the month and there is still
2 weeks left of it...By the way you said "bed room"
just how in the world did you manage to do that ?
Nice pictures too.

Re: Marushin- 1/48 collection

Now that is one nice collection (Ok, great collection). Marushin definitely puts out a nice product, and sure is nice to see a whole bunch grouped together. Just curious, what would be the next Marushin you might add to your collection?

I noticed that you have the pilots, how do you like them?

Re: Marushin- 1/48 collection

Thanks for the comments guys.. I made a pact with the wife a long time ago that I could have "my little space" in the bedroom, and she typically doesn't say anything unless I exceed my designated area, which I have tried a couple of times unsuccessfully... My next (and probably last) Marushin will be the Green Tony (Ki-61 Hein), after that, I think I am done..

The pilots are "okay".. They are hard rubber and basically painted, but I am considering giving some of them a "makeover" to make them more realistic..

Would you add a Betty if you could? Is there space for a twin engined d/c?

Looks great!

I also have part of my 1:48 collection in the bedroom! It enhances the love life... right Harry? (Depending upon the number of models ordered in any given month). Nice pics Harry, thanks for posting.

Looks like you have a modified EI Mustang with your C1 190s?

BTW... with JP's suggestions, I put the drill to my D-9 and hung it up on an extra Corgi Swordfish stand. It worked fine. Looks real good in flight too! Can even be displayed with the drop tank on. I am not touching the D-11 and D-13 though; those are staying on their feet.

No Bettys for me, I barely have room for what I have...

The Mustang is the 1st 21st Century Mustang (plastic) mounted on an extra EI stand..
