I couldn't pass up on that Rufe pun. The two cards that are displayed with the Japanese aircraft are post cards from WWII.
One of them was used my an American serviceman in the Philippines to write home to his sister, He states "Please excust this dirty card, but it is the best could find to write on. I got it out of a Jap gun position". Card has post stamp of March 18th 1945 on also has PASSED BY ARMY EXAMINER stamp. From the looks of it the postcards might be depicting the taking of Singapore, just a hunch.

Those Post Cards are terrific relics from the past! Where did you obtain them from?

If memory serves correct, I think I came across these in a local antique shop.

CC these post cards are great artifacts and I'm glad you shared them. The artwork is great, there must have been a series of such scenes!

You have preserved this bit of history very well. Thanks!
