My first Marushin..

I bought the Marushin #14 Ki-84 Frank Fighter from Hobby Japan a few days ago and I am eagerly awaiting its arrival at my door.. This will be my first and probably not my last..

I really like these models, some better than others. I remember when this brand was the cat's meow of he diecast biz.

In some circles, it still is the "cats meow".. Not so much for the detail, but for the rarity of subject matter and difficulty in obtaining them at a reasonable price..

Cool Re: My first Marushin..

Really cool buy Harry. Congrats. I've looked at these for years and only recently discovered where to source them. Still tempted although I'm not into 1/48.

Re: My first Marushin..

That's a sweet looking model you've got there Harry. I've always wanted some of their planes, but couldn't part with the coin required to get one.

I'm still kicking myself for passing on one on ebay a year ago for $250 or $275 I think... though maybe with my new space constraints, that was karma...
