Altaya SM-79

I just got around to taking a few pictures of this model. I'm pleased with this one, since I've wanted an SM-79 for awhile. I just find three engined airplanes interesting. The first picture shows a size comparison to a Do-17 and a B-29.

Re: Altaya SM-79

Thanks for the pictures, slammin. Despite the strange camouflage pattern, missing fuselage band and over sized fascist emblem, the SM-79 is high on my must get lits. The basic Altaya model looks fairly good and I should be able to convert it into a decent replica after a topside repaint and other corrections.

Re: Altaya SM-79

Neat that it is sporting a torpedo. Just hoping that someday someone does one of these in 1/72nd scale.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.
