I've got the easy model one and I'm pretty happy with it. What I don't understand is why does IXO always seem to have QC issues with the prices of hobbymaster?

I just got my Yak-3, and my landing gear are also defective: gear doors on the wrong way, and grey while the rest of the underside is light blue. The cockpit & framing looks a little "off", too. I'm pretty disappointed in the model.

It seems to me the landing gear is frequently a weak point in IXO/Altaya and other manufacturer's models. It's nice to have a fixed-undercarriage plane like the Stuka, Gladiator and Swordfish, so it isn't even an issue. Next on my wish list, A5M Claude, Aichi Val...

I just ordered the Yak 3 from militarytoyshop.com(along with the JJ Spitfire, and a Bf 109 made by Gemini that were on sale) Don't know how it compares overall to the IXO, but I'm sure I'll have no landing gear problems with it! And I see that Tyler 109 likes his.

You will see Gemini is a whole different diecast altogether...
