New York, New York | | | | Altaya To Do An A-20 In 1:144th Scale For those who are following the progress of Altaya's Bombers Of WWII line, which, except for an Arado 234, is coming out in 1:144th scale, here's some interesting news. They have changed their list to include an A-20 as item number 44, apparently in U.S. colors, and an A-26 is listed as Number 49, also in U.S. colors. Obviously both planes will be quite small in this scale and it may take IXO, the U.S. distribution arm, up to a year to get these to us---except for the usual eBay sources. However, I have a strong suspicion that the A-20 and/or the A-26 is likely to pop up under another diecast banner---and in 1:72nd scale--- perhaps, in 2009 as well.. |
