New Spitfire Mk.Vb from Altaya/IXO

I have noticed that on French eBay has appear a new model of Spitfire Mk.Vb with invasion stripes

I've got just this photo to share with you.

Interesting - but the gear up doors are wrong. Still - would like to see this one out of the box.

Strange that there is no information on it anywhere else, it is in the markings of Pierre Clostermann yet it has not been released by Altaya France.

I've got just this photo to share with you.

I wish some of these Altaya pieces like this were available in the states. I got lucky once and was able to get the Skua packaged like this from a fellow in the Houston area.
 

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

they'd have to snap off that fixed gear. It could be legit. They have released second liveries on some of their castings.
