Re: Frank's here!

Hi, Planenuts,

I assume it DID come with a propeller? Or is this the "never seen nor heard of before" jet propelled one?

It was an special experimental jet engine.....the pilot ate LOTS of beans.......

This will definitely be one I'll add to my collection as per the pics I have seen.. This is one of the best IJN/IJA planes put out so far, probably only matched by the Tony..

This one really is one of their best. Everyone needs at least one

Re: Frank's here!

I not a big fan of IXO but I do like and have all of their Japanese aircraft. I also have the Frank on order. I hope IXO finds some other color. All of my Japanese aircraft are starting to blend together. I have mine displayed by Pacific and Europe theatre. Did IXO buy a couple of 55 gallon drums of army green:-). I do have a Dragon sea gray Zero to help. The Grace is also this color.

Re: Frank's here!

Nice pics there Planenuts. When do we get some more? I'm looking forward to getting one too.

Say, what all those cartridge cases you got there. Looks like you may even have a .303 stripper clip there. Interesting.

It will probably be a while before I get it together and on a shelf. I have about ten other diecast planes and tanks waiting for my detail painting before they can be put on display.

Good eye

From right to left - .303 stripper clip, M1 Garand clip/w 30.06, partial belt 30.06, partial belt .50. I also have full belts elsewhere. And have some nice 40mm Bofors rounds. One of my favorite militaria items is my 101st helmet.

Re: Frank's here!

hmm....it reads "must sink" on the fuselage. what was the main role this aircraft played? i guess it is not referring to itself but to the ships it's supposed to attack.
