Altayas order in Europe/Germany

Hi there,

the coming 144s-flood from Altaya brings a question up: I live in Germany and have bought the occasional IXO at the Mule. While Martins service is always top notch and the exchange rate is a blast its still somewhat crazy to ship the planes over, re-import them, pay taxes, customs duties etc.
There is no reliable importer in Germany (kits only occasionaly show up in modeler stores but cant be ordered) so is there a way to web-order them in Europe, preferably from a site which is able to communicate in English.

Thx in Advance
P

One thing I have noticed is an upsurge of eBay vendors for the Altaya models. Last year you could find these listed by two and occasionally a few more sellers. Now, names are popping up all over the place---especially for the new Altaya 1:144th scale WWII bomber line. I've noted several from Holland, France and, I believe, Germany, that I never saw before. Many go the bidding route to begin with, however, if you monitor their sites and listings closely, you will see a fairly quick conversion to the "buy it now" mode. Of course, their prices tend to be 10-20% higher than those charged by most U.S. online vendors, however the savings on shipping, duties and other fees may make this your best bet.
