IXO Aichi "Grace"

supposed to be out 1st quarter of 2007. I happen to like the IXO/Altaya Japanese and Soviet releases and this pre-release picture looks really good to me.

Got mine from Spain awhile back. It's beautiful. And it's REALLY, REALLY heavy! Lot's o' metal in that one, I tell ya what.

Re: IXO Aichi "Grace"

Can't wait to get this one. Refused to be "suckered" by ebay's listings from Europe. Who wants to spend $25.00 for shipping? Nuts.

I figure we'll see these sometime in late 2007 or early 2008. Look at IXO's Dauntless. I preordered it in May of 2005 and it still hasn't been released here yet! Glad I cancelled that one. This plane is worth the wait though. IMHO, no one else is going to make this thing.

Thumbs up Re: IXO Aichi "Grace"

I agree with you gents. I have 3 Japanese & 1 Russian IXO.

I don't care how long I have to wait for this one!

It really looks very good. I'm also looking forward to the IL-2 / 10 and the rusky fighters.

The Ki 61 is my most sought after jap bird.

Re: IXO Aichi "Grace"

I have purchased several IXO's on Ebay from a guy in Spain who only charged $8 shipping. His models also came with the booklet which has a nice color poster of the plane. Just shows how you get ripped off with shipping charges from the sellers on Ebay.

ZA-Van, I just got the IL-2 and LA-7 and they go quite well with the Eastern Front fighters from Corgi and Dragon.

Sorry wmosner. Lost you when I lost my mobile connection.

I really like the two planes you've just received. That and the Yak-3. I'm looking forward to their arrival here. Downside is that's probably only next year.

Re: IXO Aichi "Grace"

I tend to stay away from IXO but they do have some very nice Japanese aircraft and this looks like one that I might have to get.

Re: IXO Aichi "Grace"

I have iXO's KI-43 "Oscar" and I'm well pleased with the product, especally at $14.95. I am assuming, (BIG MISTAKE?), that Grace will be as good as or better than Oscar. I have Gracie, plus a bunch of other IXOs on order.

Thumbs up Re: IXO Aichi "Grace"

I have one in my collection, got it from a fella in Spain as well and it was around $30.00 to my door, so I thought overall it was a pretty fair deal.

It is very cool and a really neat aircraft, it does weigh a lot, seems like most IXO's are heavier to begin with and this one is a pretty big airplane compared to say a Zero.

If you can get one, or if they really do release them in the USA I recommend it completely.

I got my Oscar from the Mule when it was on sale, also well pleased with it. I'd be happy to pick up the Grace at a decent price if I was able.
