How is the quality of the Dewotine 520 model ? Paint? accuracy? I was thinking about getting this one.

This was one of the first IXO models I had purchased and I've always been happy with it. For an IXO product it is one of their better efforts in terms of accuracy and quality (IMHO). It's one of the few IXO models I will keep if/when I sell them off from my collection.

The IXO D 520 is one of their nicer models and looks great sitting on the shelf. Definitely a real keeper.

Definately one of IXOs better models although you may have to use a little white glue on the undercart!

Its not bad for an IXO, however they designed the radiator in such a way that you can't mount the plane on its stand with it attached. Also, it's a see-through radiator so if you care about details like that, you need to stick something in there so the light doesn't shine through. It's not hard to do since the radiator pops off quite readily.

If you are willing to go plastic Easy Model has the Dewoitine listed as an upcoming release. Five different liveries planned. Also doing the MS.406.

I have one and it is a 5 on a scale of 1-10. glad to have one in my collection but I would wait for the easy model 520. then you have 6 different ones to choose from.

Thats all there is on the market at the moment but very pleased with my DE 520 QUITE ACCURATE. E/M have a selection of DE 520'S coming out

I have one and am quite pleased with it. The normal IXO caveats apply.
