Re: Anyone have the IXO Henschel Hs-129?

Thank you for your insights guys. Now I'm feeling like a sucker for not getting one when I had the chance. Didn't think it was enough of a fighter, yeah I know it was a tank buster but the Russian fighters also found it easy pickings. Bhah. Maybe I get one if the opportunity presents itself. Got a He219 to swap...

Re: Anyone have the IXO Henschel Hs-129?

Again, thanks to all with your relevant feedback/suggestions. Mike, I will do the same per your recommendations and make all the necessary corrections when I receive my copy as well.
I don't mind displaying my aircraft in flight w/gear down at all however, as one of you suggested about the 4 gun-rack on the bottom being in the way during flight, I may have to come up
with some sort of 'work-around' solution for this to work in my favor of course!

It's a great model overall if you fix a few problems as mentioned before. I think it is one of IXO's better planes and on the leval with their Japanese aircraft. It is their best German aircraft so far.

Cool Re: Anyone have the IXO Henschel Hs-129?

Another super cool looking plane that I wish Franklin Mint would make in 1:48 scale.

Yes but an Me-110 should be higher priority for them. I still can't believe they have done that one yet. But I digress...

I have the IXO He-129 and like it OK. One of the netter IXO efforts indeed, despite the standard flaws from that brand. Let's all repeat together: "who else is going to make it?"

Thumbs up Re: Anyone have the IXO Henschel Hs-129?

Yes this looks like one those models to have. I was happy with the "UHU" and the Do-335A is on its way. IXO do a good job .

I also have this bird and man does it add alot to the German line-up of aircraft in diecast. I detailed mine and added swazis and it is displayed proudly. No real issues white glue is always a given but same with Dragon and sometimes HM. I never regretted buying this one. I will say that when I heard someone was doing a 1/72 110 I dumped my Altaya version in anticipation.

Btw, in my quest to own the other Luftwaffe planes that may never be made by other manufacturers, I just wanted
to publicly thank PappyB for working out a trade to acquire the following IXO diecasts for my collection.
Heinkel He-219A-7 "Uhu" Night Fighter and Dornier DO 335A-1 "Pfeil
