Good point, it looks like something I could make in my backyard, however my German buddy tells me that this guy has a huge collection of parts being refurbed to fit to that very suspect looking airframe.
I was under the impression that most of the airframe was genuine but the photos I saw showed more panels fitted so it was difficult to see the frame.
Looking at it now i doubt that any of those ribs and stringers are genuine.
I shall have another word with my buddy and get more info.

Trust me Jim it was usually a traumatic event for all parties concerned - have you ever tried to convince an approx. 70kg (stubborn) dog to bath when he feels otherwise ... ?

I don't mind a reproduction Do335 as long as it can take flight again like the repro. Me262s . Historical value, metal fatigue and the like on older original (scarce) airframes would make flight status for them a risky proposition.

This is not a reproduction!! It is at most a 1:1 non-flying scale model that will incorporate some real parts. That structure will not take more than 1.2Gs, with luck.
