Thumbs up IXO customer service

Some time ago I received an IXO Bf-110 with a broken canopy . The seller did not have a replacement so I decided to keep it as they were already out of stock at all the retailers. Eventually I wrote an e-mail to IXO asking for a replacement transparency.

I did not have much hope on getting any responses but, if you don't ask you are sure getting no for an answer!

This morning the bell rang and there she was, the FedEx lady with a package that I was not expecting. Inside a brand new complete Bf-110 in Altaya packaging, straight from Macao via International Priority mail.

If this is not near perfect customer service, what is??

Cool Re: IXO customer service

I had a similar experience with IXO customer service. I was unsure whether my He 219 came with the gear up option so I contacted them to ask. I also asked about where I could find a Raiden. They sent me both! Their products may not be perfect but their service is very good. I'm happy to support IXO because they produce models no-one else is prepared to and their service is great.

Re: IXO customer service

I can see the IXO offices now being flooded with requests for "missing" parts from MHII members . . . .

Re: IXO customer service

I also offer kudos to IXO customer service. I had ordered their dreadful P-38 and when it arrived I found it was missing most of its decals and the paint was badly chipped. I also wrote to their customer service and was contacted by a rep within 24 hours (hear that Carousel 1 or Corgi?!) who asked if I could send some pics of the model. I did and in a couple of days received a very nice apology from the company and a replacement P-38 in excellent condition. The model was still an issue, but the service I received was beyond reproach.

If only they could offer quality models that would compliment their service.

Re: IXO customer service

Question for you guys, did you get a reply email back from Customer Service?? I emailed them over 2 weeks ago (missing a tail wheel) and have yet to hear a word. If one of you guys have a direct contact within IXO (and if you dont mind) please pm me their contact information. Thanks a million!
