Has anyone else received a IXO I-16 which looks like this?

Re: Problem with my IXO I-16

Mines fine, I think that's an anomaly. I say exchange it while you can still find one to replace it with. I had a problem with my first Raden and a waited around too long, and couldn't exchange it. I would end up finding another one later, but I had to pay $35 for it.

My biggest issue should be common all. It's the oversized windscreen. I didn't notice the anything untoward with the wings.

My I-16 wing is fine.

Re: Problem with my IXO I-16

My one is fine.......................except it was until I dropped it and lost the left tail plane!
I cant find it anywhere, and after emailing IXO several times, cant get them to send me a replacement part.
Their 'customer services' are non existant, takes ages for a reply, then they dont want to know anyway!

Mine is fine also. I like this little cutie. The landing gear is sturdy on this one, not like the rest of IXO's line for the most part.

Re: Problem with my IXO I-16

I missed this post! Yes, I have the same problem with my Polikarpov, along with a large gap between the fuselage and root of the wing on the starboard side.

I tried their customer service when I thought I had a problem with my He 219 with no retractable u/c. They sent me another one and I then figured it came gear down only. They also sent me a free Raiden which I'd asked about and couldn't find. Try ixomodels.com, it worked for me and the response was pretty quick.
