Re: Recieved some new IXO today!

I agree with you flyXwire, those pictures are great! Good work buckaroo.

I would love to see a Tojo. By the way flyxwire, the plane you are thinking about is the Kyushu J7W Shinden. It was developed in 1945 but only two protypes ever flew. Personally, I'd love a Ki-45 Nick. Since IXO did an Me-110, why not a Nick?

Agreed on the Ki-45 Nick as well, HotTrap.

I had a 1/48 Shinden model by Hasegawa that I built several years ago, and I still very fond of this design. Check out this very rare footage of the Kyushu J7W1 Shinden

Re: Recieved some new IXO today!

Arrrrgh...............

I have a love/hate (90%/10%) relationship with this forum. I'd been debating whether to order the IXO KI-84 and LA-7. These photos/comments "pushed" me to "pull the trigger" on those models as well as the N1K2 Shiden-Kai. (I ordered them just before I typed this post.)

Please remind me again why I won't be disapointed (as I was on the IXO mosquito and P-38)...

I know what you mean DaDoser. (they got me with the Carousels) .Apart from a token Zero for my P40s to play with I dont have any Japanese aircraft. Until I saw these pics I was never intending having any, however these look very good!!!
Can it be true that IXO have made a really good effort here? It certainly looks like it.
I shall keep my powder dry for the moment and think about things. When sorely tempted its best to think awhile before opening wallet!
Hmm but they look so good.

God Bless America.
