listing all Ixo releases...here with photos

Ixo is a CAR diecast company. Their Site does not mentons airplanes.

Well, I lied, it does mention aircraft... at Ixo JUNIOR menaning...KIDS.

Their aircraft collection was a special order dor Altaya. ALL the NEW aircraft you guys are gloating about that are about to be produced are standing on my display shelves for more than a YEAR.

Ixo is only USING the molds that were produced for altayas WWII aircraft coledtion.

Sorry for spoiling your day guys, but I real lots of people asking if Altaya will produce this or that, some guys are already speakin of heavy bombers.

Get real guys, all the planes you will ever get from Ixo are these

Re: listing all Ixo releases...here with photos

Not sure that is news Salazar. Most of us know these are the Spanish Altaya planes and for a long time some member in Spain was sending photos of his collection (like 2+ years ago) so we could see what was coming next. The bomber conversation might just be speculation or "wouldn't it be great if" conversation. I feel like the guys who were members of MHI and have been around a while are well aware. Still I like many of the models and am sorry to see the line end.

Ditto Parsig, bookmarked that a long way back. I agree we have procured a number of models we wont see from the other guys. If IXO chooses not to expand their line. 'Well Hasta la Vista BABY'!!!

I hope they keep going, I have been trying to get the Salamander but it seems everyone is sold out. I shall have to try the guy in Spain. Shipping is a pain . The pain in Spain is mainly shipping costs of plane. Oh dear!
Who would have thought it, Jim saying good words about IXO!! It just goes to show that if you live long enough you get to see everything.

Re: listing all Ixo releases...here with photos

My guess is the reason why people are hoping that Altaya/IXO produces more is because they just might. It was never a big secret that IXO was bringing us the Altaya planes. As far as future planes goes, it looks like Altaya is now doing some WWI/pre-WWII planes in 1/72 scale. We may see more planes in the future in terms of WWII, there is really no way to tell. But the Motor Pool news would seem to suggest that there is hope.

Jim, the Salamander should be part of the consignment overdue in SA. It would cost about $30 delivered locally. I could let you know when it arrives or get one for you if you strike out in Spain. Postage would be a pain though. I guess it just depends how much you want it.
