Re: Altaya collection not finished

The same factory produced the AR-234 in 1:144 scale as part of the Atlas magazine promotion a few years ago. Despite the lack of detail, it isn't too bad and is part of my collection. Ebay sellers like cristiantq sell planes from this collection, however I haven't seen the AR-234 listed recently

Would you mind if I request for a picture of the 1:144 AR-234? Thanks.

While I am very good at detailing planes, tanks, etc, including repaints of many diecast models, I'm not so skilled at picture-taking or posting such images. I've had a number of requests such as yours and am preparing to learn how to comply. Hopefully this wont take too long so please bear with me a bit longer.

Don't sweat it, buddy. Here's a quick and dirty way to post images for practice:

1. Right-click mouse-button on any 'image' you find on the net, then select "Properties" on the drop-down menu.

2. You will see a pop-up "Properties" box, high-lite the (Address) URL tag and Ctrl_C to copy it entirely.

3. Use the vBcode command - "[img] Insert the copied Address (URL) tag in between here [/img]" - type it exactly as you see it and remember to remove the "quotes" as it's not part of the command syntax!

Piece of Cake!
Try it out.

Thanks for the tip. Looks like I need to buy a better camera than my old Brownie, to get better pics to post. Meanwhile I'll do some practicing as you suggested.

Nice, I guess the spots on the wings are where the paint is chipping off revealing the original scheme??

Looks like some 3rd shift guy was alittle toasty, and spilled some grey paint on the top of the ME-110 while reaching over the assembly line to get another beer from his co-workers cooler.

Re: Altaya collection not finished

Hi, A bit more than €9.99 and increasing with each new range, Altaya have just added a photo of the C47 and taken the list to 50, including an Me323 and Coronado, I did put in a post that Altaya sent me a questionnaire last year re new 1/72nd range, if I spot anything I will post, later I will upload some images I have already loaded a few tank pics. brian
ps I have been trying to avoid advertising but check out specialistauctions.com - Stores- Toys and models, I am a collector myself and the rip off merchants on ebay annoy me, if you contact me through SA mention the forum

PS I have loaded a few pics from my collection of 1/1 model photos, mostly Weathersfield in the 60's where that very helpful organisation USAAF looked after them for me, but there is a joker???,
