I love the plane. I wish Franklin Mint would make one in 1:48. What's up with all of those panel lines (or is it some black line grid work camo).

It's a great looking plane, my only question is why did they paint the bombs on?

You're right LazyB, just what the heck are those things under the wing supposed to be? IXO Japanese planes have really been the only ones from that manufacturer that have been decent (IMHO). However, if they are resorting to painted bombs that would indicate a new low in their product line.

Lzybns, Maybe they're they are just pretend bombs, or painted instructions to the armament crews as to where to install them. If they ever become available.

hey where's that guy that told me the gear was wrong here is your proof that this is the actual angle................................. The plane (and booklet with wartime photos and drawings) has been in my collection for a year now. Nice model heavy not perfect but unique.

I'm not sure about the landing gear debate but here is a picture and line art depicting the angle of the landing gear.

It's already out.
In fact, all of the newest batch IXO are out, they arrived Friday. I just haven't had a chance to photograph them yet.
