MOH for Snookie's pilot

I read somewhere that the pilot of Snookie won the MOH. Is this correct or are they talking about another bird with the same name?

Re: MOH for Snookie's pilot

Specifically, check out http://www.medalofhonor.com/WorldWarIIS.htm under William A. Shomo. He received the MOH for his legendary P-51 sortie, after he flew Snookie.

Re: MOH for Snookie's pilot

Thanks. I guess that makes 4 MOH winners in my collection.

Well, then I have at least one MOH in my collection. I have Shomo's P-51 The Flying Undertaker.

I was going to include this aircraft in my group Aircraft with Invasion Stripes. Now I might have to start another group of Aircraft Flown by Medal of Honor Winners.
