My TBM Avenger

I put alot of finishing touches on this Grumman TBM. I weathered it,painted the prop hub and engine.I added ehaust stains and drew in some panel lines and the windows on the lower rear fuselage. I painted the interior of the bomb bay as well as the bomb bay doors. I also painted the torpedo a respectable color. It looks pretty good to me now although straight out of the box it is a looker.

My TBM is in the UPS pipeline for a special "Louie" redo. Joking aside, you've got a great looking model there.
Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year.

Talking Re: My TBM Avenger

Thanks guys, I am a detail nut at times and I was on the fence about this model but when I held it for the first time I was hooked. The rest is history.

Re: My TBM Avenger

The bomb/torpedo bay area looks especially improved over the OOB model. You've inspired me to have a look at mine and think about doing some paintwork down there. Nice job!

Re: My TBM Avenger

Louie, your plane looks great! Hmmmmmm !!!! Might have to think about getting one myself and doing some fine detailing.
