Every now and then IXO does a pretty good job. I think that this was one of those times.

Thumbs up Re: Typhoon back in stock

Totally agree. I've heard a lot of guys say they'd dump theirs for the Corgi, but it still isn't clear whether Corgi's putting rockets on theirs or not, so I'd think twice about that. Regardless, I'm keeping mine.

Corgi have only announced the earlier, "razor-back" type Typhoon (so far), which never carried rockets. So Ixo will remain the only rocket-carrying Typhie for the immediate future.

All the more reason to keep the IXO Jr. Typhoon...but that's a given of course.

True - geez, for some reason I was thinking the Germany 1945 Typhoon was going to be a bubble canopy rather than the early car-door type. Probably due to the low-res pic and the fact I was way too distracted by the Halifax and razorback Mustangs! So FlyX is right - all the more reason for the IXO!

Wonder if the Corgi Tiffie will have bombs then?

Re: Typhoon back in stock

I reckon they are a pretty good reason for being distracted . I'm looking forward to those myself!

Re: Typhoon back in stock

A beautiful diorama scene (The Calais Gap) I saw several years ago was best illustrated by a 'rocket-firing' Typhoons laying waste to a neat row of Panzer division tanks! Awesome!

Re: Typhoon back in stock

Such a cool aircraft. I must have one.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

You don't have one of these yet.
Get one if you can find one....I was lucky to find one a few weeks ago.
It is a must have for any collection.
IXO did a pretty darn good job on this one.
