Re: Typhoon back in stock

Boy, I hate to say this...
I really haven't seen a pic of the new Typhoon that didn't look like a toy. I love this plane, and have real high hopes. Maybe it's just the camera angles, or maybe it's just me. Can't wait to see it.

I really can't believe that I'm saying this...
The first one released may be a little better than those to follow.

I wouldn't get rid of your original.

He probably only has a few and as people browse and put 'em in and out of their shopping cart the status changes?

Gavin -- I'm shocked, you're actually saying the IXO may be BETTER Than the Corgis when they come out Interesting... Well, I'm going to keep my IXO if for nothing else than to do a comparison with the Hound's when it debuts.

Re: Typhoon back in stock

The IXO Typhoon is still a great model and one of IXOs best.. Also considering that the Corgi Typhies are the early car door version with the later bubbletop just a slightly modified version of that (which technically isn't right).. IXOs version is also what I consider the "classic" Typhoon, loaded out for bear..

Re: Typhoon back in stock

While I agree that judgment should be withheld until Corgi's is released, you have to admit that this is pretty nice.

IMHO, it looks much better in photos than it does in person (Great photo!)

I do like the paint scheme a lot, it's the crude nature of the small parts, weak gear, and glue requirements (for the rockets) that turns me off a bit.
