Re: Skyhawk of the Angels

I would Love to see an F-8 an A-6 and an EA-6B and the A-4 in Diecast....
I was stationed at NAS Pensacola when the Blue Angels flew the A-4's I was attached to HC-16 we flew H-46's and H-1N's
And when ever the Blue Angels were home they would shut down the field every Wednesday and let them practice so I was watching Airshows all the time while working on our Helicopters...... And you know I didnt even realize I had a good thing going until after I left it was common place.....
Also when ever the Thunderbirds were doing a show at one of the local AFB's they would stay a couple days during the week and fly.

Thumbs up And for me too !!!

NOW your talkin' An F-11 Tiger....I'll take a half dozen please.

I remember building a (1/48?) F-11 by Lindberg when I was a kid.

The F11F is such a BEAUTY, and perhaps the greatest performer the Blue Angels ever had !
Among my favourite naval fighters, the Tiger is second to the Crusader only !

Re: Skyhawk of the Angels

If there is going to be a skyhawk produced, I would rather see it in it's combat role for the USN than the Blue ANgel Scheme..

I probably wouldn't buy it..

I tend to agree. I try to get combat schemes. I usually wont go for the special schemes (tiger meet, thunderbirds, et.), but I do have the Franklin Mint Blue Angels F18. When I was little, I made a 1:32 scale Blue Angel skyhawk and had it hanging from the ceiling in my room.

Re: Skyhawk of the Angels

Let's not forget that there are also Blue Angels and Agressor squadrons liverys for this aircraft.

Sorry, but I really excited about the prospect of this aircraft(era) being produced.

Great looking planes in the 3 posts but how about some information, I don't have nearly enough time to research these.

Me too. I'm only interested in combat or active duty versions.
