Re: Future painting scheme...?

Interesting news, for sure !!! Not certain yet wether I would buy one since I have modelled two of them from Hasegawa kits, but they only have underwing drop tanks... but on the other hand, I haven´t chosen my avatar by pure coincidence...

@William: It is still right that You have the 1/48 Kormoran by Victory Productions AND THEIR LAUNCH PYLONS (different from underwing drop tank pylons !!!) as reference? If so: fine !!!
But please keep in mind: live Kormorans were painted white with light grey heads. The problem is that they (live Kormorans) were only so rarely seen on Marineflieger F-104G´s. Can´t even actually find a pic of that combination on the web. Most pics show the Kormorans painted olive drab, but those were only dummies!!!

The Sidewinders can be adopted from the JaBoG 31 model (if they´re meant to be live ones).

And another desire: would it be possible to paint the ecection seat rings yellow-black and not just yellow this time? Not the last desire: if HM want to give us a pilot to this model this time, its overall should be the same dayglo as on the wingtip tanks. Normal for almost any German jet pilot of that era.

An MFG 1 plane would be a little bit better than MFG 2 (for me at least).

Re: Future painting scheme...?

I will definatly be happy if this particular scheme comes out with the antishipping missles. I still would like HM to do the F-104G's that are in the art print
by Heinz Krebbs Gunfighters of the new west. They were German F-104G's used to train the German Air Force at Luke AFB, AZ but wore USAF markings.
The print has the colors of the West German flag painted on the leading edge of the verticle fin and on the bottom of the horizontal stab.

Hi,

The Wings of Fame Vol.2 has some photos of the Kormorans. During a training round it is painted white with grey head. In other occasions it is painted dark grey. The pylon will be made different.

For the seat ring I need to check whether it can be painted yellow-black.
