Hello Former Viper Driver. When I went to EC-145 school, I stopped at a place that makes models in Fort Worth. He had a couple of F-102's in 1/48 on display with 1st LT George Bush painted below the canopy. Fred G. the owner said it was the ANG F-102 that Prez Bush Flew while in the TX Guard. That's a great site, Lakota Mech...and thanks for the link too! I've always wanted to get Burt Rutan's "Space Ship One and White Knight" X-Prize winner. The website looks like it specializes only on one-of-a-kind build to suit models. Their products are truly nice, though.

Thanks LM, very cool site. They have some fascinating stuff (love that "Flying Flapjack"!). I'm going to look more into it. Normally, I don't buy very many of these kinds of models (in part because they tend to be very expensive), but these guys have some great subjects, and the quality seems really excellent.

Here's the F-102 that desk model that you're talking about. It's not the paint scheme that I thought that it was.

I talked to Fred yesterday, and he has one left.

Nice jet! I'm not necessarily tied to a George W. Bush scheme, I just want an F-102 (would prefer diecast, though). But he is the Prez, after all, and I can't think of too many famous F-102 pilots right now.
