F-102 and F-106?

I was browsing around themotorpool.net website and under the HM section they had these aircraft listed under the Vietnam section. Of course there were no pictures. This is the first that I heard of an F-102 / F-106 by HM. They also had F-105 (which I had heard about) as well as the Val (under the WWII section) and the Mig 15 (under the Korean section).

Question Re: F-102 and F-106?

I've never had a problem with TMP but I think he's jumping the gun somewhat on a few of these (possible) future releases by HM...

The Motor Pool is an online store that carries most of the diecast lines that are discussed on this forum. It also hosted that interesting interview with Hobby Master's William, a while ago.

From various comments HM's William has posted, on this and the UK forum, the Mig-15, F-105 and, I hope, the Val seem reasonably certain to be on this company's upcoming new mold schedule. This may also be true for the F8F Bearcat, however, the prospects for the also discussed F-102 and F-106, as well as the Tempest V, LA5FN and IL-2, at this point, seem more tentative.

Re: F-102 and F-106?

I belive at one time William said that the F-102 and F-106 were not on the schedule anytime soon. HawkOneVooDoo said on his website that the F-102 and F-106 were being considered but William had a talk with him and Hawk retracted the statement. I think it was in June or July.news letters

The impression I got was that except for the LA5FN and the Bearcat---which might be 1:48s---- HM is thinking primarily 1:72nd. I believe that this also applies to the jets. I know that HM has floated other possibilities, such as a 1:32nd FW-190A and a 1:48th Fury, but I suspect that they are having second thoughts on these in view of the mixed receptions received from forum members.

Re: F-102 and F-106?

William brought a 1/72 Bearcat with him to RAF Waddington in July.
