Please make these Hobby Master

I need a Blue Angels F-18 and a Thunderbirds F-16. I think these would sell quickly, what do you guys think?

They would sell, but sell slowly.
Few collectors rush out to buy Demonstration Team models.
I collect BA models so you could count me in for that Hornet

Witty makes a nice F-16 Tbird and Armour makes a BA Hornet

Re: Please make these Hobby Master

Good idea, but as Hobby Master doesn't generally release items already covered by other companies, I don't know if we'll see a HM F/A-18 or F-16 anytime soon.

I'm a big fan of Witty's F-16. They released a Thunderbirds F-16 a while back. It looks pretty good to me.

Re: Please make these Hobby Master

If you were selling them at a decent sized airshow where the team was performing you could probably sell through a thousand in a weekend, if they were priced right.

I'm with you there, I think you could do a limited run of 1,000 and they would definitely sell out. I wasn't a fan of the witty F-16. I like the Franklin Mint birds just a bit pricey for me. I would like to see them in 1/72 scale though. I know BBI is coming out with a 1/18 thunderbird F-16 but, aswith everything BBI you have to take it with a grain of salt . The guys at the Military Toy Shop seem to think it WILL be here early next year.

HM - please do NOT do them. Would be w.o.p.r. .

And by the way, I hate formation aerobatics and the planes representing this unnecessary kind of riskful "show".

Re: Please make these Hobby Master

I just think there are so many other things to make that have not yet be done...F-101, F-102, F-105, F-106, F-111, etc.

Agreed...and the 105 is planned.

Re: Please make these Hobby Master

I would buy a HM F-18 Blue Angels to go with the other 3 HM releases.....not much interest in the Thunderbirds...I have the Armour 1/100 one and recently bought the 1/72 Air Command one.

You took the words right out of my mouth IMHO, those planes you had mentioned would sell far quicker.
