A-10 MiL Killer

I just added the A-10 "Mil" Killer to my collection and I must say, this is one nice airplane. It comes complete with a wide assortment of missles and bombs and is ready to go into action.

Having always thought this airplane was pretty ugly, I never thought I would want one, but thanks to fellow forum member Chiefs70 who gave me a good price on it, it now sits along side my F-15 and F-16 ready for action.

Re: A-10 MiL Killer

Hey Skydriver,

I really do not want to cause a setback to Your enthusiasm - but while the plane is indeed good, the armamant provided with it by HM is... a true disaster... (it was hard for me not to use foul language here...)

Perhaps YouŽd better take a look at this thread here:

Re: A-10 MiL Killer

Congratulations on your pick up. I've got this bird, and one or two other Hobby Master A-10's and I think they are great.

Re: A-10 MiL Killer

I have this one too and it definitely ranks up there with my favorites, but like others have said, sadly the armament ain't right. It would be pretty sweet if that load out were accurate though. I've never thought the A-10 is ugly. I think the fact that it's so lethal makes it that much more appealing.
Also, those engines sound SO COOL for being so quiet.

I fully agree with you. Fighter's are suppose to be pretty but this CAS machine isn't suppose to take your heart away, only your soul in a rain of 30mm rounds haha. The fact that its so dangerous makes it more sexy in my mind. I really don't want to break my promise of collecting anything that looks cool, but its sooooooo hard looking at this one

Re: A-10 MiL Killer

A lot has been said about the Maverick triple launcher on both sides of the pond but I have these two pictures which show the triple launchers but with only two Mavericks fitted so I say is take one off each side and maybe a lick of paint and stop worrying

Re: A-10 MiL Killer

William said they were going to do a re make of the A-10's. This time with a more accurate external make (as they are missing some antennae and also some formation plates) as well as doing some better weapons options. How Seet would it be to get an A-10 with all new weapons!!!! Like maybe a Sniper XR pod some WCMDs and GBU-38's!?!?!?!?! William how bout it!!?!?!?!

Question Re: A-10 MiL Killer

BANDIT95:

Did William give a release date and paint scheme info for the new A-10 remakes?

(I was just about to buy HM's new A-10 shark-nose, but I might wait for a new, improved A-10)

Hey Muesingman,

Would a dagger to the heart cause a setback to my enthusiasm- possibly so, but your comments do not. Thanks for pointing out the other thread. As I inferred, I never thought I would want one of these planes, thus I had no idea of the actual armament. I appreciate your candidness about the armament as it has definatly informed me more about this plane.
