Grumman F3F-1 arrived today.

Well the F3F rounded out my delivery from Pete's today and have to say it is a real gem. I had originally only intended on getting the first, but after seeing this one have to get the second too (Already have the third on order.) The HM Grumman F3F-1 is an impressive model and really liked how they handled the landing gear positions. Rigging on this one was real nice and only draw back is slight bit of a bow in starboard stabilizer strut. This is a fine looking model, and I am looking forward to more biplanes from the folks at Hobby Master.

Very nice CC. I'll be trying not to get one of these. I just can't keep up!

Is it safe to assume you have this sitting on the shelf next to the VF-3 F2A-2? That's were mine is going.

I wish this could have been made in 1/72. It would have gone well with my other Tomcatter models. Gotta love that Felix.

Yep, that would be correct.

More great pics, CC. BTW, in reference to the third F3F--did that bird actually see any combat?

While never seeing combat, the F3F series was responsible for training the generation of pilots that would later lead combat squadrons in WWII.
