Re: New HH1004 UH-1B Huey pics

Looks like a great mold. I would also love to see them do one in Air America scheme. No one has made a diecast Air America aircraft yet. The men that served in that group were very much heroes.

Thumbs up Re: New HH1004 UH-1B Huey pics

I agree with Jetcollector and mustangdriver. A Canadian CH-118 would be a must-have for me, and I greatly respect the bravery of those Air America pilots.

Unfortunately for my pocketbook, it appears as if HH1004 is a must-have too!

Re: New HH1004 UH-1B Huey pics

I have worked with and interviewed many of the Air Maerica veterans, and I have helped restored three C-123's that have served with Air America "Thunder Pig" at Air heritage, "Patches" at the NMUSAF, and the one at the Air America Foundation in Florida. These men were the tip of the sword. The type of flying they did was just amazing, and the stories they have are both heroic, and heart breaking.

Re: New HH1004 UH-1B Huey pics

Boy William you sure know how to make a guy happy! This has to be the most attractive helicopter I've ever seen! I like the M5 40mm and are those two M158's? Is that ship #470? I can't remember which other ship had the ace of spades painted on her. The only picture I could find is here... and she either has an M16 or M21 Armament Subsystem.
