| Finally! A Kate with a torpedo. Well there came a much awaited knock at the door today. Yep, UPS man with the second Kate in the series. (Kind of knew it was coming, Pete dropped me a line yesterday). Other than the mandatory booster seats of the aircrew, another fine looking model. Looks great with the torpedo slung underneath. Here are some photos of the new addition. ![]() ![]() ![]() | |||||||||||||

| Re: Finally! A Kate with a torpedo. Yes, I also bought one last Saturday in my local diecast shop. I have not taken it out of the box since it is a gift for my brother ( he collects 1:72 and I collect 1:48 ), but for what I can see, it looks great. | |||||||||||||

Torpedo slung underneath does look pretty neat. From the start pretty much wanted both level bomber and torpedo bomber variants. Looking forward to the earlier B5N1 variant too.

Me too! The older cowling was much more attractive (IMHO), and reminded me of the cowling on the Mitsubishi A5M, which was probably the classiest looking of the first generation monoplane fighters... Mine should be here Friday, but unfortunately I won't. Looking forward to getting a live look next Tuesday...don't know why Pete sent your's first ![]()
