Re: HM Dauntless

I hear they are going to make a an Avenger, F6F, A-4, and F-104. Then they are going to do a 1/48th scale F4F and Brewster Buffalo.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: HM Dauntless

Better buy one quick, though. I hear supplies are pretty thin, and once they’re gone – they’re gone!

This is correct, the only copies of this model available in North America are what is left in shops, the U.S. distributor is sold out and there are no more for him. The last part of the production has been allocated to Europe only.

Re: HM Dauntless

Lofty, have you seen one "in the flesh"? The lines are far more subtle than photo's lead you to believe - they seem to be accentuated in pictures for some reason .

Yep! sure have....have the two WWII Models in the collection.
I know they are not as bad as the IXO/Altaya's (had to sell them....nasty!) but i personally think the models don't need them....
Horses for courses though......

If anyone is looking for one of these I know of a retailer who still has them in stock. Shoot me a PM if you are interested.

I don't know the number made, I know it isn't limited to 1,000 or anything like that but I don't think they make a ton of each model. All I know is that the very appealing models disappear quickly so it can't be all that large, relatively speaking. It is going to get worse, a few more distributors around the world have just signed on with Hobby Master so the models will be going out to more countries soon.

Thanks hawkone.

I generally don't like to pre-order, but I guess I better rethink that with Hobby Master!
