Re: HM Dauntless

HM really set the industry standard with their Dauntless models: Everything about them is smack right on the money. Their Stukas are pretty hot, too.

Now, if Hobby Master could churn out a B-17 or ‘24 or ‘25 or ‘26 or, or, or ...

I'm not convinced about inking the panel lines.......

Lofty, have you seen one "in the flesh"? The lines are far more subtle than photo's lead you to believe - they seem to be accentuated in pictures for some reason .

Your right Spinnaker. I don't think they look overly eccentuated at all....at least to me.

Re: HM Dauntless

I don't know... they look pretty dark on the one I have. Granted, they're not of the IXO/Altaya type, which is a bit overboard, but they are quite dark. It doesn't detract too much though, and I imagine that HobbyMaster tried it without the lines too see if it would look any better that way. I'd like to see a pic without just to make a comparison.

Tyler707,
Do yourself a favor and pick up the Lexington pre-war Dauntless. You'll jump for joy once you take it out of the package.

Re: HM Dauntless

Better buy one quick, though. I hear supplies are pretty thin, and once they’re gone – they’re gone!
