Re: Who has the Blue Angels A-4?

So does that mean the F4 Phantom will have the same problem with the yellow as the A-4 ?
JP

I have never seen Corgi's one so I cannot judge. But printing yellow in larger area is not an easy task to handle.

We have adopted similar procedure of the F-4 for the A-4.

So it is up to individual collector's judgement that it is good enough or acceptable or not.

Hi,

To print large area of yellow is a difficult task to handle. I have never seen other manufacuter's one so I am not able to judge.

The F-4 has adopted similar procedure like the A-4.

Hence, it is up to the individual's collector's judgement that whether it is good enough or acceptable or not.

I believe HM should have the duty to produce products that clients think it deserve their money after all.

Re: Who has the Blue Angels A-4?

I think that TFM's color brightness on their digital image needs adjustment...the blue and the yellow both look equally brighter than all the other photos I've seen of this model...hmm

Re: Who has the Blue Angels A-4?

if anyone wants to improve the yellow trying coating those areas with some future. it will bring the colour out and make it more glossy.

Re: Who has the Blue Angels A-4?

I thought about doing that. Perhaps when I can afford a new airbrush, I'll give it a try.

no airbrush needed. Future floor wax can be hand applied.

Re: Who has the Blue Angels A-4?

I was thinking of using a gloss coat for models. Never used future floor wax.

Re: Who has the Blue Angels A-4?

future is really good stuff, the more coats you apply the more glossy it gets.
as pointed out you get good results just with a brush.
the colour blue that is used on blue angels jets is apparently an automotive paint also it does seem to change in hue due to the difference in light.

Re: Who has the Blue Angels A-4?

Hi,

I have taken another look at the A-4 and F-4 Blue Angles done.

For the A-4, the yellow color of the letters and the wing tips do not match so well. We regret and apologise on this.

For the F-4, overall speaking it is better.

Thank you for pointing out about the quality problem for us.
