Beaufighter Prototype

Attached two photos of the Beaufighter prototype. It is a mixture of many types.

The prototype is 1/48 but will be making it in 1/72.

Re: Beaufighter Prototype

That looks superb, William. Looks like you've got the flat tailplane for the night fighter version too - excellent. I'll take several Beau's in 1/72nd!!

Thumbs up Re: Beaufighter Prototype

Fantastic! I will be in for whatever versions produced.

1:72 allows me to buy more versions of more models because of limited space.

I hope there will be a time when the same models (type, not paint scheme) or produced for both 1:72 & 1:48 collectors. I'm not sure what the market is for 1:32 versions.

I would be all over the 1:48 spits (XIV's) in 1:72!

Keep these great products coming!!

Thanks for the photos, William. I'm happy to see that it looks that good this early in development.

Re: Beaufighter Prototype

Great looking photos of the Beaufighter and another fantastic looking model coming to shape. Have to add a few of these to my collection.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: Beaufighter Prototype

Could you release a few in 1:48 scale? BTW, what is HM's future 1:48 scale projects?

Re: Beaufighter Prototype

Tears are forming in my eyes William. Thankyou HobbyMaster. I just can not believe I'm getting a Bofort and a Blenny in the same year. Now this is a switch in a new direction for HM. A WWII bomber!!!! Is there, could there be hope for a Dornier?

Don't forget the targets are my airfields, Leigh-Mallory, and you're not getting fifty, you're not even getting ten.
