Re: Ritchie/Cunningham F-4s discontinued?

I was thinking of picking up a Ritchie. Does anyone know who may have the best price? Thanks!

You should post this in good deals as we are not to discuss prices outside of there really. Just FYI

Re: Ritchie/Cunningham F-4s discontinued?

In the end, Showtime 100 is a pretty awesome scheme. People who don't know much about aviation won't even know that Cunningham flew that plane

You're absolutely right! Especially considering all the tricks in the book the present Commander in Chief used
to stay out of Vietnam; but that's another "politician'.

If you're not living in this part of the world, please keep your comments to yourself. At least he wore a uniform, which is more than our last Democrat president and current democratic presidential candidate can say.

As far as the airplane goes, let's not forget it wasn't "his" airplane. He flew it and became an ace in it, but the plane was flown by many other honorable and highly skilled Naval Aviators and served the country valiantly. After all, plenty of you guys have airplanes with swastikaz on them that were flown by Nazis, am I right?

First I'd be worried if any Ritchie planes are still in stock at any retailer. It took me a couple days to track one down online and it was the current going rate for the HM Phantoms

I think Racers Den Collectables still has stock. Just ordered from them. I think the Ritchie and Showtime are also available at Monkey Depot.

Well, I have been repeatedly told by an online retailer they aren't available yet which is bullocks. When I expressed my concern he has failed to respond so I am unlikely to order from him again regardless of his reputation. Fortunately, I found another retailer with it in stock so I won't lose out - either I'll have one or two. Still, I am peeved at the retailer's lack of response. In my opinion there is no excuse for failing to courteously respond to the query of a PAID customer.

Good luck, mil0. I didn't order through your retailer but who knows these days.

Re: Ritchie/Cunningham F-4s discontinued?

If they stop producing Showtime 100 because of Cunningham's post war activities, then I'd be real disappointed in HM. I got mine because I respect what he and his backseater pulled off in that F4. I could care less about anything else he has done.
Afterall, I'm not collecting each pilot's personal auto in diecast either. But if the PC cops have forced HM or anyone else to pulled the plug, then this hobby is in trouble.
And its so easy to judgemental, when noone is looking in your personal business!
