Re: HM F-105 Thunderchief!!!

From what I have read and have been told, prices for our diecast will be rising. When and how fast?-- I don't know. However, it seems the costs of production in China are climbing, particularly labor costs. I just think the prices will be going up for these labor-intensive products--just a fact of economic life...

After China I think we'll see more products made from India and after that, stable places in Africa. As long as workers want rights and raises we'll be paying more to accommodate these increases until we decide its too much and another country willingly will let its people working for less.

On a happier note, I love the F-105! I'd like to see Major Thorsness and his EWO Capt. Harold E. Johnson. I also need some time to save up too, so take your time HM.

Btw, good news about the Thud and I like mine in "South East Asian" camo and an F-105G Wild Weasel variant please.

Mate, You just wrote what I was thinking all the time. Want a Wild Weasel, too!

Re: HM F-105 Thunderchief!!!

I’ll buy so many F-105s I’ll be able to start my own air force. One thing: Hobby Master ought to consider packaging a SAM missile with the ‘105. Considering SAMs swatted Thunderchiefs outta the sky with nauseating regularity, it’s only right one should accompany this fabulous warbird.

Nah ... scratch that.

Could HM having their own production facility be their greatest asset? Not having to source out means lower costs for them, and more affordable product for us. That $5 - $10 a model might make all the difference.

Re: HM F-105 Thunderchief!!!

I would really love to see an F-105G Wild Weasel in SEA camouflage and again, a shark mouth as these two-seater Thunderchiefs commonly wore. However, my first preference would be a single-seat bomb-laden F-105D as these were the real work-horses of the air war over North Vietnam. Of course, the best of all worlds would be if HM comes out with both an F-105D and F-105G-- similar to what they are doing with the F-100 with both an F-100C and an F-100D.

Great to hear that a 105 is on the way! Hopefully one will be in SEA camo with lots and lots of ordinance.

Here's one of that "Thud goes the Weasel" sitting as gate guard near where I work...

Re: HM F-105 Thunderchief!!!

Since HM hasn't released Bud Anderson's P-39 "Old Crow," which is OK because I have one repainted, can we PLEASE have an "Old Crow" -105???
